November 16, 2015—The International Association of Tax Stamps (ITSA), a new industry organization for promotion of tax stamps and industry standards and best practices, was established on November 11 at the Tax Stamp Forum in Miami, Florida. As a founding member of the organization, SICPA will partner with industry leaders and collaborate on education, advocacy and development of the tax stamp industry.

Meyercord Revenue, a SICPA company, will leverage SICPA’s relationship with ITSA to further shape its provision of tax stamps to the U.S. market and consider global opportunities for growth. As the leading provider of tax stamps to 46 states, Meyercord Revenue can provide ITSA with observations and challenges for the U.S. market.

“Meyercord Revenue already offers proven excise tax stamp solutions,” said Alex Finkel, Vice President and General Manager of Meyercord Revenue. “As we continue to expand our portfolio and offer new services, we look forward to learning from SICPA’s participation in ITSA and contributing to making our industry stronger and better positioned for growth.”

SICPA is one of 10 founding members of ITSA. The new not-for-profit organization was created in an effort to build awareness and understanding of the benefits of excise stamps and tax stamp technologies. Christine Macqueen of SICPA will serve on the Board of Directors and will liaise with the Meyercord Revenue team with key learnings and requests for input.
